Feasible City

In the latest issue of the Dutch weekly magazine ‘Binnenlands Bestuur’ (Internal Governance), the article 'Maakbare Stad' (Feasible City) was dedicated to the British urban thinker Charles Landry. He advocates public engagement in neighbourhood renewal processes. “Bureaucracy often is characterised to be harmful. I think we should encourage positive understanding of this type of administration. People who are working there, often know very well how to co-operate with other departments and how to find and to realise creative and holistic solutions.”
